Our Story
Gutter Doc was founded by Devan Padayachee in 2008. A humble beginning with just one van, one trailer and a staff comprised of 3 (Devan, a Gutter Fitter and a fitter assistant). Gutter Doc began 13 years ago meeting the needs of clients in the Chatsworth, Shallcross & Malvern/Queensburgh region.
Those humble beginnings have led to where we are now- a full team of professionals working on projects of all sizes ranging from large estates with over 400 homes to works for government as well as thousands of domestic homes all over KZN.

Our Mission
Our mission from the beginning, which still holds true today, is to run a business whose core values are built on ethical and honest business practices coupled with quality services, superior products and qualified staff.
Our aim is for your gutters to never be a hassle for you again, therefore we pride ourselves on our fast installation of gutters that fade into the background and last years with no leaks or rust.
Our Experience
Over the last 13 years Gutter Doc has built its name based on honesty and integrity. We have invested in our business by partnering with reputable gutter material supply companies. We have invested in our staff by training all Gutter Doc staff in the necessary qualifications of the Aluminium Gutter industry.
Our years of experience has allowed the Gutter Doc name to hold strong in the Seamless Gutter Industry. Because of this you will find Gutter Doc installations all throughout KZN and there is no project too big or too small for our services. Some of our previous projects have been:
Estate Developments
We have catered for estate developments, such as the IZINGA Estate which houses approx. 400 homes.
Large Corporates and Government Departments
We have undertaken works for large corporate and government departments, namely Marley Roofing, Joyson Systems, KZN Oils, NPC cement, Toyota, The Department of Defence, The South African Naval Base and many more.
Large Body Corporations
We have managed installations for large Body Corporations such as Wildelia Terrace, Coronation Park and others.
Domestic Installations
We have also undertaken installations for thousands of domestic homes throughout KZN.
We are now affiliated with large property management companies and are contracted to a number of insurance vendors which hire our services to undertake their gutter work.
Yesterday we had new seamless aluminium gutters fitted by Gutter Doc to our house and granny flat.

I was really impressed by Devan who came around to check out the requirements prior to quoting. His time spent asking questions, measuring up, making recommendations and attention to detail, such as the highly corrosive environment where we live on the Bluff in Durban and galvanic corrosion from dissimilar metals in contact was exemplary.
The installation team arrived on time and were both friendly and polite and did an excellent job of the installation, paying attention to detail, such as gradient for water flow etc. The team also cleaned up after them and left the premises tidy.
I have no hesitation in recommending Gutter Doc for your guttering needs.
